Jacqueline A Burgess, 68, of McConnelsville, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Highland Oak Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on October 23, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Jack Leroy and Barbara Ann Shreeves Sonborn. She was a homemaker and Apostolic by faith attending the Anchor Church of Crooksville. She is survived by a son, Jamie Burgess of New Straihtsville, a daughter, Jessica Burgess of Malta, 3 sisters, Robbin Clemon of Keyser W.Va., Sharon Phillips of New Lexington and Nancy Hutchin of Crooksville and 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Justus Cleve Burgess. A caring cremation is taking place at her request. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.
