James K. Bartimus, 64, of McConnelsville, passed away Sun. June 22, 2025 at his residence. He was born Mar. 17, 1961 to the late Harold and Amelia Kibler Bartimus in Cambridge OH. He is survived by his wife Gena Edstrom Bartimus of Chesterhill; son, Joel Bartimus of Marietta; 3 daughters, Chelsea Brown of Chillicothe, Alison Mayle of Chesterhill, and Amelia Bartimus of Marietta; sister, Darlene (Jim) Haines of Pennsville; and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary Bartimus. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling arrangements.
