James E. Farnsworth, 82, of Stockport, died on Weds. June 22, 2016 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 17, 1934 in Roxbury, Ohio to the late Gibson and Florence Harker Hale. He retired from the Muskingum River Power Plant in Beverly where he worked in Maintenance. He was a member of the Stockport Church of Christ, Webb Lodge #252 F&AM in Stockport and the Buckeye Vintage Haulers. He is survived by his wife of 62 years whom he married January 1955, Ramona Hendrickson Farnsworth of Stockport several Nieces and nephews with one special niece Melissa Thompson of Ocean Spring, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jimmy Farnsworth and his brother Carl Hale. A private graveside service will take place on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stockport Cemetery with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
