James Bernard Kincaid, 83, of Stockport, passed away at home surrounded by his children on January 17, 2025. He was born December 11, 1941 in Spencer, West Virginia to the late Willie and Golden Kincaid. Jim retired from Globe Metallurgical after 30 years, and was also co-owner of J&J Trucking. He loved farming and hunting. Jim married his soul mate, Janet Cain Kincaid on November 10, 1962; they were married for 60 years. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Armstrong and her children Dalton, Peydon, and Bobby of Stockport, and son, Brian (Andrea) Kincaid of Chesterhill; his siblings, Phyllis, Tim, Joan, and David, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored.  Jim is preceded in death by his wife, son, Daniel Kincaid, his parents, and brother, Paul. Services will be held Thur. Jan. 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville, with burial following at Lightner Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on the family, Wed.
