Obituary

James Robert Pauley 58, of Duncan Falls passed away at 9:15 a.m. Feb. 18, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. He was born July 30, 1956 in Red Bank, New Jersey the son of the late Robert Pauley and Mary Kathy Jones Pauley of Marietta. He was a coal miner at Powhaten Point mine and worked for Messer Construction Co. in Columbus. He loved gardening and all of his family, he was an avid Cleveland Brown fan. He enjoyed watching his son wrestle and play football. He is survived by his mother of Marietta; wife of 38 and a half years Debra Dille Pauley; daughters Amber (Jeff) Russell, Ashley (Bryan) Hartman, Katie Pauley and Kayla Pauley; son Jacob Pauley of the home; four grandchildren Jade Russell, Luke Hartman, Logan Hartman and Karleigh Mercer; sisters Irene Davis, Debra Lilly, Teresa Matheney, brother Larry Pauley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Johnny Lee Pauley and a nephew Jeremiah Pauley. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb 22, 2015 at the Church Of The Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with pastor Galen Finley officiating.
