James D. Ross, 67, of McConnelsville, passed away on March 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born on Oct. 3, 1950 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late James Ross and Garnett Gose George. He worked for the Gould Corporation in McConnelsville where he was the supervisor of the Foil Division. He loved genealogy and helping other people find their loved ones. He is survived by 2 sons, Tom (Billie) Ross of Malta and Jake (Maureen) Ross of Zanesville, a daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Strohl of McConnelsville, a brother, William "Butch" Endicott of Stockport, a sister, Bonnie (Jim) Wilson of Stockport, 5 grandchildren, Akkai (Michelle) Strohl, Skylar (Jess) Strohl, Lakken (Zach) Gohring, Brandi Ross and Bridget Ross and 2 great grandchildren, Owen and Karei Strohl. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a step-grandson Scott Bunting. Friends may call on the family from 11-12:30 P.M. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
