James V. Tabler, 69, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017,at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville. James was born in Lathrope, Ohio on June 26, 1948, a son of the late Fred and Jessie Tabler. He worked at McBee-Litton in Athens, Ohio as a Press Operator. He is survived by the mother of his children, Candia Tabler of Athens; 4 sons: James Jr. (Amy) of Cutler, Justin, Jonathan, and Joshua ( Chelsey) Tabler, all of Zanesville; 1 daughter: Jessica Tabler of Zanesville; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother Henry(Mary) Tabler and 1 sister, Wanda Tabler of Stewart. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son, Joseph, 2 brothers: Dennis and Ernie, and 1 infant sister, Linda. Services will be held at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Rev.
