Obituary

James E. Tucker, 77, of McConneslville, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

He was born Oct. 13, 1939, a son of the late Clarence Tucker and Lillian Sweeney Tucker.

He was a Construction Superintendent and Excavator. He attended Pisgah United Methodist Church, was a member of the Sportsman Club and the National Wild Turkey Foundation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Roach Tucker, whom he married August 23, 1971; stepdaughter, Beth McMasters; sons, Tom Tucker and Tim Tucker; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and his Vermont family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, James Tucker and Dan Tucker; stepson, Kevin Pramer; and brothers, Patrick Tucker and Jackie Tucker.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 12 noon.

He will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery, near Lancaster.
