James E. Vincent, 75 of McConnelsville, formerly of Chesterhill, passed away on Weds, July 17, 2024 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Homein McConnelsville.  He was born on Jan. 19, 1949 in Chesterhill to the late Eldon and Jean Duncan Vincent.  He worked as an electrician at Gould Inc. in McConnelsville before retiring.  He is survived by a special friend, Patty Hill, 3 sons, Jimmy (Kristi) Vincent of Malta, Stevie Vincent of McConnelsville and Ricky (Monica) Vincent of Caldwell, a brother, Gary (Tracy) Vincent of Chesterhill, 5 sisters, Phyliss (Gary) Stanley of McConnelsville, Marlene Davis of Joy, Susie (Danny) Coler of Chesterhill, Linda (Richard) Sheets of Pennsville and Marilyn (John) Seelhorst of Rutland, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Vincent and a sister, Gail Ann Mullins.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation at his request.
