Jane V. Roberts, 79, of Stockport passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 1:20 p.m. at the Select Specialty Hospital in Zanesville. She was born August 5, 1932 in Columbus to the late Dwight Van Horn and Helen Post Van Horn.

Jane was a retired bookkeeper and was a former E. M. T. and volunteer for the Stockport Fire Dept. and E.M.S.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Roberts of Orlando, FL; two sons, John Thomas Roberts of Columbus and Jeff Roberts of Bowling Green; a sister, Mary Margaret "Pud" Richardson of Byesville; a brother, Edward Van Horn of McConnelsville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by a son, James "Bo" Roberts and a brother William Van Horn.

At Jane's request a caring cremation will take place. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miler-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Mike Wells officiating.
