Jane A. Veyon, 80 of Malta, passed away on Thurs, April 27, at her residence.  She was born on Feb. 5, 1943 in Rokeby Locks, Ohio to the late Thomas and Ruth Jones Cory.  She was a homemaker and worked with her husband Winnie in his drywall business.   She attended the Stockport Church of Christ.  She is survived by 4 daughters, Shari Winstanley of McConnelsville, Terri (Danny) Vandine of Malta, Kathy (Bruce) Bankes of Stockport and Wendy (Eric) Rummer of McConnelsville,  4 sisters, Sharon Gardner of Marietta, Mary Dingey of McConnelsville, Sandy Maxwell of Malta and Beth (Chuck) Guinn of Stockport, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and her best friend of 65 years Kay Shuster.  She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Glenn (Winnie) Winstanley and her 2nd husband Kenny Veyon.  They family would like to thank Shrivers Hospice (Kathy, Karley, Kayla, Michelle, Joe and Kayla).  A visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4-6 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville followed by a cremation.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shrivers Hospice Foundation.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
