Janet Carol Mayle, 69, of Chesterhill, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born on March 30, 1947 in Kilvert, Ohio to the late Robert Lee and Leora Flowers Jenkins. She retired from Ohio University and attended the Ravenswood Church of God. She is survived by 1 son Jeff Mayle of Glouster, 4 daughters, Tammy Mayle of Chesterhill, Mary Mayle of Chesterhill, Angie Tackett of Virgie, Ky and Annette Combs of Chesterhill, 1 brother, Willie Jenkins of Chesterhill, 1 sister, Darlene Singer of Kilvert, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and Lisa Rush that she raised as her daughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dave Mayle, 1 son David Thomas Mayle, 2 brothers, Sharon and Bob Jenkins and 4 sisters, Mae Singer, June Hill, Naomi Goins and Irene Jenkins. Services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt Hermon Church near Amesville. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, May 8, from 2-5 P.M. at Carols Home and 1 hour prior to the services at the Church. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
