Janice Starr Dille, 78, of Pennsville, passed away on Fri, Oct. 9, 2026 at her residence. She was born on Jan. 3, 1948 in Sunbury, Ohio to the late Walter Burce Davis and Marcella Boston Davis. She was a cook and worked for many years at Totman’s Lamp House in Malta and then retired from IGA Grocery Store in McConnelsville. She attended the Pennsville Church of Christ and the Malta Bible Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Larry (Kim) Ewart of Malta and Derrick Ewart of Pennsville 2 daughters, Lisa Ewart of Canal Winchester and Bonda (Brian) Sanders of Stockport, a step-daughter, Sharon (Kermit) White of Malta, brother Steve Davis of Heath, half-brother, Chad Davis of Parkersburg, half-sister, Mary (Jerry) Jenner of McConnelsville, 6 grandchildren, Misty, Cristin, Laurie, Kyle, Wesley and Carson and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and Husband Vern Allen Dille. A celebration of life service will be held on Sat, Oct. 24, 2026 from 1-5 P.M. at the Heck Harkins Building in Stockport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shrivers Hospice Foundation or the M&M Vol. Squad. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
