Janice Sue Shook, 71, of Chesterhill, Passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. She was born on March 2, 1947 in Glouster to the late George and Gladys Rankin. She worked as a cook at Marion Elementary and then retired from South Elementary. She was an avid bowler in several leagues at the River Valley Lanes in McConnelsville. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary Shook of the home, 1 son Todd Shook of Chesterhill, a daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Riley of Stockport, a brother, David Rankin of Glouster, 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Edna Ashton. Services will be held on Weds, Oct. 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
