Jean Ray Boyd, 84, of Waterford, passed away on Weds. Sept. 30, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on Dec. 1, 1935 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Grover and Hettie Knight Ray.  She was a member of the Marietta 7th Day Adventist Church and helped with local 4-H and Girl Scouts Clubs.  She is survived by her husband, Donald Boyd of the home, 2 daughters, Teresa N. Saunders-Meske of Shepardstown, WV, and Josie Boyd of Waterford, 2 step-sons, Donald and Stephen Boyd both of Beverly, 2 step-daughters, Mona Boyd of Waterford and Kimberly Neil of Corpus Christy, TX and 3 grandchildren, Alisun, Greta and Nathaniel Meske.  Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Liberty Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
