Jean Gorby Dingey, 69 of Columbus formerly of McConnelsville passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Ohio State James Cancer Center in Columbus. She was born on Nov. 11, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Greg and Virginia Grant Gorby. She worked as a secretary for the Columbus City School System and attended the Nazarene Church. She is survived by her husband, Roger L. Dingey of the home, 2 sons, David L. Dingey of Pickerington and Michael R. Dingey of Franklin Tn, a daughter, Barbara Lilly of Fargo, Nd, a brother, Clark Gorby of McConnelsville, a sister, Carol Westfall of Zanesville and 6 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
