Jeannette M. Stanley, 63 of Pennsville, died on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 9:00 A. M. at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. She was born in Kentucky on April 1, 1948 to the late Ted Tackett and Veldean Burgett. She worked in many homes caring for the elderly. She is survived by her husband John Taylor of Pennsville, 2 sons, Gordon Stanley and Shane Stanley both of Delaware, 2 daughters, Sherry Karns and Tina Foust both of McArthur, 2 brothers, Mike and Jerry Tackett both of Waverly, 3 sisters, Judy Conley, Jenny Ramsey and Penny Duckweller all of Waverly, and 9 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Dave Burgett, and a brother, Charles Burgett. A caring cremation is taking place at Jeannette's request. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.
