Jeffrey Allan Maxwell, 55, of Malta, died on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 12, 1960 in Zanesville, Ohio to Duane I. And Rita Brown Maxwell. He worked for the last 12 years as a laborer at Anchor Hocking Glass in Lancaster. He was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in New Lexington. He is survived by his parents, 2 sons, Joshua Maxwell of Wisconsin and Brandon Maxwell of Malta, 5 brothers, Jason Lee Maxwell of California, Ed Masterson of Malta, John David Maxwell of Minnesota, Dr. Don Maxwell of Arizona and David Maxwell of Arizona, 3 sisters, Kathy Woodrum of Westerville, Susan Maxwell of Cambridge and Margaret Maxwell of McArthur. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bernard, Stephen and Darren Maxwell and 3 sisters, Katherine Weaver, Anne Maxwell and Elizabeth Dorris. A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 3:00 P.M. at the St. Rose Catholic Church in New Lexington with burial following at the Maxwell Family Cemetery at 4:30 P.M. Matheney Funeral Home In McConnelsville will be handling the arrangements.
