Jennie M. McCreary, 85, of Malta, passed away on Weds. Aug. 7, 2024 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital.  She was born on June 17, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Daniel and Stella Grambo Chapman.  She worked at a boat top shop in Columbus where she sowed many types of Canvas.  She loved spending time with all of her family.  She is survived by 2 sons, Steve McCreary of Columbus and Dan (Joni) McCreary of Malta, 2 daughters, Cindy (Bob) Gibson of South Webster and Linda (Randy) Lockhart of Columbus, a sister, Betty Wilson of Nelsonville, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence McCreary and a grandson Nicholas McCreary.  A graveside service will be held on Sat.
