Jerry C. Lemon Sr. 77, of Malta, passed away at 6 :00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.He was born April 15, 1937 in Gassaway, W.Va. the son of the late Goad Lemon and Edith McClung Lemon. He was a Union Carpenter and a Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by daughters Kim (William) North of Malta; Rhonda (Jeff) Carpenter of Nashport; Janice (Todd) Himler of Beverly; and Angie (Frank) Lemon of McConnelsville; sons Jerry C. Lemon Jr. of Malta and Roger (Jessica) Lemon of Malta; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sisters Martha Reece of Zanesville; Margaret Dustman of Blue Rock and Karen Hill of McConnelsville, a close friend Billy Delong of Malta. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Dolletta Smith and Betty Mollohan, half sister Claudia Brown, one brother Larry Lemon, two half brothers Ray and Garrett Lemon, and a grandson Jason Payne. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday.
