Jerry A. Miller, 87, of Pennsville, passed away on Weds, Feb. 3, 2021 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  He was born on April 8, 1933 in New Straightsville, Ohio to the late Roy Miller and Mary Love Miller Griffin.  He was a machinist for Morgan Enterprises in Akron and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He is survived by 2 sons, Roy Miller of Middletown and Matthew (Cindy) Miller of Dublin, 2 daughters, Sharon Salem of North Canton and Sandra Miller of Vinton, 2 sisters, Rose Romig of Akron and Linda Nicholas of East Liberty and 9 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nellie Hambel Miller and a daughter, Susan Miller.  A visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 from 11-12 Noon at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  Followed by a graveside service at the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Malta.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.mathenyfh.com.
