Jerry Alan Rush, 65, of Chesterhill, passed away on Sat., Nov. 7, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side.  He was born on Feb. 22, 1955 in Marietta, Ohio to the late James and Dorothy Tabler Rush.  He retired from the Central Ohio Coal Company where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of the Southland Mission Church near Cutler and the Chesterhill, Lions Club.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Norris Rush of Chesterhill, a son Corey (Jerica Simmons) Rush of Chesterhill, a daughter, Heather (Patrick) Myers of Duncan Falls, 2 sisters, Susan Jenkins of Columbus and Joni Mayle-Tate of Pennsville and 3 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jimmy Rush and a sister, Delores Norman.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery near Amesville.  A visitation will be held on Weds.
