Jessie Lee Ray, 88, of McConnelsville, died at 6:13 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Riverside Country Care Center. She was born July 8, 1922, in Erwin, TN, a daughter of John Wesley and Sue Tipton. She was a homemaker and she was also a house cleaner. She was married to Charles R. Ray on August 20, 1960. He died on October 24, 1991. She is survived by two sons, John W. McCausland of Canton and Thomas R. McCausland of Palmbay, FL; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Friends may call from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, with Pastor Walt Jones officiating. Burial will be in Malta Union Cemetery.
