On Sept. 10, 2015, the Lord called another Angel home.

Jimmy Elwood Brown, 63, of Stockport, passed away at the Genesis Hospital after a long battle of pneumonia and lung cancer.

He was born January 5, 1952, in Athens, to the late Herman Brown and Mary Kittle Balch.

Jimmy is survived by many; the love of his life of 27 years fiancAC.e, April Moyer; several children, Amy Nelson, Chad Moyer, Stephanie Starling, Tabetha Buckmaster, Michael Moyer, Jr., Kindalyn Phelps, Melinda McDonald, and Jimmy Barnhart; five brothers, Denver Brown, Henry Brown, Kenneth Balch, John Balch, and Eugene Balch; three sisters, Louella Houser, Cledith Misner, and Mary Phillips; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and longtime friends, Randy (Susan) Boggs of Stockport.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four grandchildren; and brothers, Thomas Brown, Gilennis Brown, Herman Balch, Robert Balch, Roger Balch, Elmer Balch, Richard Balch, and Walter Balch.

Jimmy's wish was to be cremated with no service. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial service will be held for Jimmy at a later date. He will be truly missed by us all.
