John W. Bennett, 69, of Cutler, passed away Thurs. Oct. 16, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born July 1, 1956 to the late Dean and Ellen Dearth Bennett. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Hawn Bennett of the home; daughter, Kendra Posey of Zanesville; step-daughter, Tammy (Joe) Miller of Stockport; step-sons, Jason Morgan of Circleville and Ben Combs of Bartlett; 2 sisters, Joan Holland of Cutler and Judy Drobina of Stockport; 4 grandchildren; and special nephew, Robert Bennett. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger Bennett. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home is handling a caring cremation for the family. A Celebration of Life will be held Sat.
