John A. Clarke, 50, of Zanesville, formerly of Malta, passed away on Sun, Feb. 11, 2024 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on Aug. 30, 1973 in Beverly, Ohio. He is survived by his father, Ralph Clarke Jr. of Malta, a brother, Jason Clarke of Athens, 2 step-brothers, Mike Bennett and Jerry Bennett both of Malta and a sister, Heather McCauge of Malta.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Bennett Clarke.  Services will be held on Weds, Feb. 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the funeral.
