John P. Fitch, 86, of McConnelsville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Fri, Aug. 12, 2022.  He was born on April 19, 1936 to the late Raymond and Dorothy Eppley Fitch.  He married the love of his life Kay Quinn Sept. 8, 1962.  He was a hardworking man his whole life as a fulltime farmer, Malta Manufacturing, Taylor Woodcraft, truck driver, realtor, Lowes, Superior Fibers, Fanatics and many more jobs.  He was also a very giving man.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.   He loved his animals especially his cats and loved to hunt and be in the outdoors.  He is survived by 4 daughters, Lisa (Don) Wilson, Andrea (Jeff) Harmon, Sheree (Steve) Dailey and Wendi (Jeff) Michaels, 7 grandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Cabbott Abigail (Dimmerling), Chase, Colt, Cory (Harmon), Taylor Dailey, Kayli, Joel and Joseph (Michaels), 10 great grandchildren, Clara, Case, Trenton, Trevor, Ava, Cooper (Harmon), Ryker and Baylor (Dimmerling), and Dallas and Denver (Caldwell).  Services will be held on Fri, Aug. 19, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Thurs, Aug 18 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com
