John S. Kuhn, 63 of McConnelsville, died on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:49 P.M. at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on May 5, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Frank Kuhn, and Marge Smith Kuhn Fisher. He retired from Miba Bearings after 36 years where he worked as an electrician. He attended the Neelysville Church of Christ and was a member of Valley Masonic Lodge # 145 in Malta. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Carolyn Sue Alcock Kuhn of the home, 1 son, John C. (Crystal) Kuhn of Malta, 1 daughter, Betty Jo (Scott) Bone of Malta, 1 brother, Bobby (Angie) Kuhn of Wichita, Kansas, 2 sisters, Shirley (Durwood) Timberman of Portersville and Nancy (David) Kirkbride of Pataskala, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grand sons, and sister in law Janet Kuhn of Cincinnati, and a grandson on the way. Proceed in death by his parents, 1 son, Shannon and 1 brother Chuck. Service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11: 00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the McConnelsville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. and a masonic service will follow visitation at 8:30 P.M.
