Jolliette Mae McCune, 89 of Belpre, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 3:50 P.M. at the Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beverly. She was born on October 6, 1922 in Sharpsburg to the late Arch and Nellie Fawcett McCune. She worked as a waitress at Carr's Restaurant in Chesterhill and then at Nelson's Drug Store in Belpre. She attended the Pleasant View Methodist Church in Belpre and was a member of the O.E.S. # 14 of Marietta, Parkersburg American Legion Post #285, and the Rebekah Lodge of Belpre. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Williams of Coolville, one sister, Juanita Lawrence of Belpre, two grandchildren, William (Mindy) Hale of Belpre and Margaret Copeland of Coolville and three great grandchildren, Karissa Copeland and Wesly and Zachary Hale. She is preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, William Carr, Paul Loudin and Ernest Meadows, four brothers, Dallas, George, Dale and Ralph McCune, three sisters, Ruth Parks, Alda Dille and Frances Lawrence and one son-in-law, Larry Williams. Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Charles Simmons officiating. Friends may call on the family from 12-3 P.M. the day of the funeral.
