Joyce Malisher, 85, of McConnelsville, passed away at 6:58 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born March 25, 1932, in Morgan County, the daughter of the late Fred Price and Mildred (Peg) Lane Price.

She was the organist and a member of the Main Street Church of Christ, in McConnelsville, and Past Matron and member of the Valley Chapter No. 19 OES of McConnelsville.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (John) Korting, Lisa (Dean) Wilson, Michelle (Don) French, and Mary A. Malisher; seven grandchildren, Michael Korting, Angela Berkfield, Andrew French, Trissa Baer, Donald French Jr., Katherine Korting Shipman, and Austin Wilson; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Rich Price.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Malisher, whom she married June 6, 1953, and who died August 3, 2015; and a brother, Carl L. Price.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, with Evangelist Vernon Eldridge officiating.

She will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery beside her husband.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street Church Of Christ in McConnelsville.
