Juanita M. "Windy" Vance, 76 of McConnelsville, passed away on Weds, Sept, 17, 2025 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  She was born on June 11, 1949 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late David and Janet Blevins Auxier.  She spent her life as a homemaker and loved spending time with all her family and grandchildren.  She is survived by a son, Scott Vance of McConnelsville, 2 daughters, Jennifer Thompson of Stockport and Mary Parker of Hilliard, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Anderson Lee Vance and a sister Debra Auxier.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation for the family.
