Judy Ann McCarty 71, of 1531 Pascal Rd. Malta , passed away at 11:51 p.m. September 7, 2011 at her home. She was born September 25, 1939 in Corning the daughter of the late Harold Alfman and Irene Langel Alfman. She was a nurses assistant and was a housekeeper in several hotels.She is survived by her husband James D. McCarty whom she married May 10, 1980 and four daughters Carla (William) Cudiff of Columbus, Lori (Carlos) Mendez of Laredo, Texas , Lynn Hartley of Malta and Chrissy (Ervin) McCarty of Obetz;stepchildren Peggy (Mark) Mason,Linda (Pepe) McCarty, Rebecca (Dwight) Schneider, Lisa (Mike) Burkholder and James McCarty.Several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; one sister Mary of Fredericktown; one brother Harold Alfman of Crooksville and one half brother Gene.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Dean and Eugene Alfman. Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept 9, 2011 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept, 10, 2011 with burial to follow in Zion Cemetery in Portersville.
