Judy H. Roach, 75, Valley City, formally of Malta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, surrounded by family sharing stories of her life.

Judy was born on Jan. 20, 1941, in Mt. Nebo, WV.

She owned the River Queen Tavern and Restaurant, in Malta, She had many friends, was deeply loved, and lived life to its fullest. Judy was a 20-year resident of Malta.

Judy is survived by daughters, Debbie Roach, Vicki Roach Sofranko, Janice McCamon, and Lisa Dippel; sons, Harold "Bub" Roach and Ronnie McCamon; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Cleora Lee Carrico; and brothers, Roy, Utah, Andy, and Layford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil H. Roach; her son, Cecil L. Roach; father, Ottie Walton; mother, Icie Pearl Humphries; 10 brothers; four sisters; and first husband, Richard.

Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, OH.

Friends may also call from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow, for Judy and Cecil, in Malta Cemetery.
