Julia M. Roberts 80 , of McConnelsville, passed away at 11:11 a.m. June 8, 2017 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville.  She was born July 15, 1936 in Perry County the daughter of the late Joseph E. Matis and Anna Vozar Matis. She was a babysitter and worked at Essex Wire and also worked at General Electric in Columbus.  She attended the Malta United Methodist Church in Malta. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Roberts; daughter, Leah Mae Mayo of Stanford, Kentucky; sons, Curtis Roberts of Pennsville,  Patrick Roberts of Malta; two grandchildren;  sisters, Emma, Annie, Josephine, and Charlotte.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Eva, Teresa, and Elizabeth; brother, Charles Mack Matis. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, at Miller-Huck Funeral home in McConnelsville with Reverend Maryann Tomlinson officiating.  Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Portersville. Friends may call two hours before the services at the funeral home.
