Karen "Katie" J. McGrew, 54 of Stockport, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 4:01 P.M. at the Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She was born on April 21, 1956 in Key West Florida to the late Wilbur and Ann Corley Blough, and was a dietary aid at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville. She was a member of the Stockport Church of Christ and an advisor for many 4-H groups in the Stockport area. She also enjoyed Gardening and camping with her favorite camping freinds. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Rodney McGrew of the home, three daughters, Jamie McGrew of Stockport, Jennifer and Gary Newlen of New Matamoras, and Jessica McGrew of Stockport, one brother, Wilbur W. Blough of Smithville, Mississippi, one granddaughter, Kylee Newlen, and her special dog Mariah. She was preceded in death by her parents, father in law, Tom McGrew and Niece Diana McGrew. Services will be held Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:00 A. M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Evang. Trevor Littleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Stockport Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 5-8 P.M.
