Katharine Ann Pryor, 82, of Stockport, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at her residence. She was born on February 12, 1934 in Stockport, Ohio to the late Willis and Clara Hanson Young. She worked at the Ohio Power Plant in Beverly as a timekeeper was a homemaker and worked at her sister Rosalie's restaurant as a baker. She attended the Warner Church of Christ in Lower Salem and was a member of the Neelysville OCCL, McConnelsville senior league bowling, McConnelsville, KOPS and TOPS and was a 4-H leader. She is survived by her husband Dana L. Pryor of Stockport, 1 son, Gary L. Pryor of Delaware, 4 daughters, Joyce Pryor of Stockport, Janelle Pryor of Pippa Passes KY, Janeen Parsons of McConnelsville and Jana Pryor of Zanesville, 2 brothers, Kenneth Young of Dayton and Ronald Young of Beverly and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Rosalie Ellis and Marjorie Paxton. Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Rick Abend officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Stockport. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
