View a Video MemorialKathleen Norris Hill, 98 of McConnelsville, formerly of Zanesville, died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 4:20 A.M. at her home. She was born on February 4, 1914 in Cutler, Ohio to the late Owen C. and Stella A. Tate Norris. She was a homemaker and worked as an LPN at Bethesda Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of the Bethel Wesleyan Church near Bartlett and a 35 year member of the LPN Nursing Association. She is survived by 4 sons, Marvin (Karen) Hill of Newark, Herman Duane (Rosa) Hill of Columbus, John Owen (Donna) Hill of Zanesville, and James Leroy Hill of Zanesville, 6 daughters, Pamela Kennedy, Yvonne Tabler, and Marla Mayle all of Zanesville, Marilyn Tabler of McConnelsville, Wynona (Robert) Dials of Pataskala, and Julie Yvette (Phillip) Mayle of Columbus, 2 brothers, Gail Norris of Canton and Kermit Norris of Cutler, 1 sister, Wilma Croston of Canton, 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman C. Hill, 2 son-in-laws, Ralph Kennedy and Dean Tabler, and 2 great grandchildren, Bradley Allen Hill and Julisha Hill. Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel Wesleyan Church near Bartlett with Pastor Steve Hale officiating. Friends may call on the family on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 4-7 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
