Kathleen Schwab, 71 of the Riverside Country Care Center McConnelsville passed away at 2:40 a.m. May 5, 2011 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was born May 13, 1939 in Hickory, North Carolina the daughter of the late Floyd Pugh and Cordie Brown Pugh. She was a retired nurses aid at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville and a member of the Sunshine Gang. She is survived by one daughter Susan (James) Ray of Minneapolis, Minn. ; two sons Charles (Darla) Schwab Jr. of McConnelsville and William (Linda) Schwab of South Charleston, Ohio, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, four sisters Helen (John) Bickley of Malta; Evelene Schwab of McConnelsville;Alein (Clarence) Bywater of Malta and Barbara Bywater of Stockport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Charles Schwab Sr.and three brothers Alvin, Calvin and Melvin Pugh. Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 with Tony Caito officiating, burial will follow in the Chesterhill cemetery.Condolence may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.com
