Kathryn L. Morgan, 95, of Beverly passed away at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at the Riverside Landing Nursing and Rehab near McConnelsville.

She was born October 11, 1917 in Roseville, OH, to the late Thomas Sagel and Emma Katherine Reever Sagel.

Kathryn was a homemaker and a member of the Beverly Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Sally Ann (Bill) Ireland of Chaplin, CT; a son, Tom Morgan of Beverly; six grandchildren, Hope Marie (Jason) Campbell, Eric (Betsy) Morgan, Kathy (Scott) Burdick, AnnMarie (Phillip) Poudrier, Sally Kay (Ernie) Lehoux, and Jane (Kevin) Scanlon; 18 great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Rex Sagel of Houston, TX.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husban, H. Scott Morgan; two sisters, Mabel Deaver and Helen Fleming; and a brother, Thomas Sagel.

Calling hours will be Thursday, Nov. 22, from 5-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, with Pastor Tom O'Connell officiating.

After the service, a caring cremation will take place. Her ashes will be buried at a later date next to her husband in Rose Hill Cemetery at Roseville.
