Keith C. Scott, 89, of Duncan Falls, formerly of Pennsville, passed away on Mon., Aug. 31, 2026 at the Riverside Landing Nursing Home. He was born on Jan. 14, 1937 in Pennsville to the late Norman and Mildred McInturf Scott. He was the owner of Keith Scott Oldsmobile in Zanesville for over 18 years and former owner of the Whip-N-Dip in Zanesville. He was a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ and a former member of the Zanesville Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees and Pennsville Vol. Fire Dept. He is survived by his daughter, Carla (Randy) Ankrom of Corning, daughter-in-law Carol Scott of Cadiz, 4 grandchildren, Chase (Kaleigh) Temple, Denise (Robert Jr) Taylor, Chavez Gregg and Chaz McConnell, 3 great grandchildren, Hunter Temple, Kinzleigh Temple and Kaci Mizer and a special cousin Ruth Ann Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carmelita Janes Scott, a son, Chris Scott, 2 sisters, Norma and Kaye Scott and a brother, Douglas Scott. Services will be held on Fri., Sept. 4, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Pennsville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pennsville Church of Christ or the Pennsville Fire Dept.
