Kenneth G. Dennis, 80, of McConnelsville, passed away at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Genesis Health & Rehab Center in McConnelsville.

He was born May 30, 1929 in Zanesville the son of the late George and Mamie Cress Dennis. He was retired from Community Action of Morgan and Washington Counties.

He is survived by two sisters, Vera Smith of McConnelsville, and Flossie Woodard of Quincy, Kentucky; one brother, Carl Dennis of Nashville,Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Dennis; one sister, Glenna Dennis; one brother, Threan Dennis; and one infant brother.

At his request, a caring cremation will take place and a Memorial Graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Zanesville at a later date.
