Kenneth L. Holbert, 73 of Athens, passed away Tues. May 27, 2025 at his residence. He was born Oct. 29, 1951 to the late Frank and Lillian Marshall Holbert in Zanesville, OH.  He is survived by 4 sons, Bradley Scott of Chesterhill, Gary Scott Jr. of Cutler, Damien Holbert and Tyrone Holbert both of Athens; brothers, Jeff Norris and Vaden Norris both of Zanesville; sisters, Janice Holbert and Renee Norris both of Zanesville; 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; companion of 34 years, Dora Mae Scott; the man that raised him, Herb Norris; brothers, James Holbert and Gib Norris; and sister, Linda Mayle. Funeral will be Sat. May 31, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Friends may call on the family from 9-11 A.M. on the day of the service.
