LaDyne Hill Mayle, age 65, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her residence following a long illness. She was born in Athens, Ohio, on March 1, 1949, a daughter of the late James O. and Juanita June Jenkins Hill. LaDyne was retired from the State of Ohio as a clerk. Surviving are 1 son: Marvin Mayle of Columbus; 1 daughter: Renee Mayle-Caughey of Columbus; 1 adopted daughter: Diane Caplinger of Columbus; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 brothers: Lee Hill of Malta, Eric Hill of Chesterhill, and Calvin Hill of Heath; 2 sisters: Kay Hatzer of Columbus and Sue Hill of Chesterhill; several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Watson Mayle. It was LaDyne's request that no calling hours be observed. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery near Amesville, Ohio with burial to follow.
