Lance B. Morin, 60, of Malta, passed away on Sat. Jan. 25, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on Jan. 17, 1960 to the late Kenyon and Maxine Muse Morin.  He was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Morgan Local School District.  In retirement he continued to substitute teach in the district.  Lance enjoyed horses all his life, from his days on his parent's farm to showing his Arabian horses later in life.  He enjoyed life and his association with people.  He was a graduate of Morgan High School and the Ohio University.  He is survived by a sister, Linda (Roy) Welch of Malta, a brother, Larry (Dee) Morin of McConnelsville, several nieces and a nephew.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral services will be held on Thus. Jan. 30, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stockport Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Weds.
