Larry F. Marquis, 73, of Stockport, died on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at 1:30 A.M. at his residence. He was born on May 3, 1940 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Warren and Lucille Janes Marquis. He was a machinist at Owens Illinois Glass in Parkersburg and a member of the Stockport Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mulford Marquis of the home, 2 sons, Gregory Marquis of Dale and Bryan Marquis of Caldwell, 2 daughters, Angela Garvin of Caldwell and Stacy Holmes of Baltimore, 1 step-son, Michael McCoy of New Lexington, 1 brother, Louis Marquis of Cabins, W. Va., 1 sister, Sonja Hoffman of Ravenswood, W.Va., 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Janet Clegg Marquis and a sister Shelia Marquis. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 from 4-6 P.M. with services following at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
