Larry W. Mayle, 58 of Amesville, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 12:07 P.M. at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 9, 1953 in Lathrop, Ohio to Garfield and Goldie Hill Mayle. He spent his life as a construction worker and raising his family. He is survived by his mother, Goldie Mayle of Amesville, wife, Jo Ann Mayle of the home, one son, Larry Mayle Jr. of Amesville, four daughters, Rachael Mayle of Bartlett, Jennifer Mayle of Chesterhill, Mary Mayle of Canal Winchester, and Jerrika Ratliff of Columbus, three brothers, Edward and Franklin Mayle both of Columbus and Jesse Mayle of Stewart, six sisters, Wanda Mayle of Columbus, Mary Hill of Chillicothe, Freda Mayle of Columbus, Nida Goins of McConnelsville, Phyllis Mayle of Amesville, and Sharon Mayle of Columbus, and 17 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, one son Michael, seven brothers, James, Francis Sr., Howard, John, Kenneth, Carlos, and Gary, one sister, Winnie. Services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Hermon Church near Amesville with burial following in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
