Larry Pyle, 61, 0f McConnelsville, died on Sat. May 30, 2015 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville after a 4 year battle with Colon Cancer. He was born in Duquion, Illinois on Nov. 14, 1953 to the late Edward and Eva Mauck Pyle. We worked for the Morgan County School System where he was the head custodian at Malta Elementary School. He loved music, the outdoors and tinkering around his cabin. He is survived by a son, Christopher (Sue) Nicholas of McConnelsville, 3 daughters, Amanda (Ronald) Butcher of Zanesville, Amy (Shyrone) Draughn of San Antonio, TX and Kathy (Charles) Huff of Zanesville, 1 brother, Ennis "Chip" (Debbie) Pyle of Kernersville, NC, 7 grandchildren with one on the way and a special grandson Brayden, several nieces, nephews, friends and his favorite dog "Puppy". He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Thomas and Richard Pyle. Services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Friends may call on the family from 4-6 P.M. on the day of the service.
