Larry D. Rutter 61 of 3486 E. St Rt 60 McConnelsville passed away at 2 :15 a.m. October 30, 2010 at the V.A. Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.He was born February 5, 1949 in Zanesville. He was retired from Central Ohio Coal Company and also worked at the Longenberger Co. and was a member of the Neelysville Church of Christ. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one daughter Virginia Ross of Zanesville , one son Larry D. Rutter Jr of McConnelsville: grandchildren Miranda Rutter, Andrea Marie Ross, Georginia Connie Louise Ross, Santana Samson, Kendall Samson, Scott Samson;step grandchildren Rhonda Ross and Albert Carl Tyrone Ross; four great grandchildren and five Step great grandchildren;sisters Rita Mathews of Zanesville, Virginia Johnson of Zanesville, Brenda Burfield of Zanesville; brothers Dale Myers of Blue Rock and Jim Rutter of Malta. he was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Myers; wife Connie Rutter one sister Mary Louise Rutter and two brothers Larry Wayne Myers and Eugene Myers. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p,m. Tuesday, Nov 2, 2010 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville . Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 3, 2010 at the Neelysville Church of Christ with Jeff Shaner officiating.
