LaVerda L. Eash Snellman, 67, of McConnelsville, passed away on Fri, Oct. 9, 2026 at her residence. She was born on June 26, 1959 in LaGrange, Indiana to Wilber E. and Orpha Bontrager Eash. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Malta. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Peter Snellman of the home, a daughter, Margaret Ruth Snellman of the home, 7 brothers, LaVern Eash of Cumberland Furnace, In, Jerry Eash of Fairfield, Mt, Marlin Eash of Burksville, Ky, Lonnie Eash of Jackson, Ronnie Eash of Plain City, Jonnie Eash of Plain City and Kenneth Eash of Alburn, Ky and a sister Maudene Miller of Alburn, Ky. She is preceded in death by her mother and a sister Kathy Eash. A service will be held on Weds, Oct. 14, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Ebenezer Mennonite Church 3497 N. Finley Rd. Malta Ohio 43758. A visitation will be held on Tues, Oct. 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the church. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements for the family.
