Lawrence H. McCreary, 91, of Malta, passed away Sun. July 23, 2023 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. He was born Feb. 7, 1932 to the late Nolan and Amelia (Weber) McCreary in Columbus, OH.  He was a self-employed contractor with a specialty in plaster and stucco. He was also a member of the McConnelsville Eagles #2187. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jennie (Chapman) McCreary, of the home, sons, Steve McCreary of Columbus OH, and Dan (Joni) McCreary of Malta, OH., daughters, Cindy Gibson of South Webster, and Linda Lockhart of Columbus, OH., 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nicholas McCreary.  A graveside service will take place on Wed.
